Hi there, how are your New Year Resolutions doing? Just a quick reminder that January is ending soon so keep the fire burning.
Today is Asset Evaluation Day as declared by my very humble self. LOL. What is your most important asset? Well, jokes apart I sincerely want us to take a look at what we consider as assets maybe in the definition of assets and liabilities by Robert Kiyosaki – those things that bring in money and those that take away money from our pockets respectively. Also, according to accounting experts, “depreciation” an intangible item can be given a monetary value in the books for subsequent deductions so in the light of such intangibles please also consider both your tangible and intangible assets in today’s task. Mine as I have discovered is a priceless one, I can’t seem to put a monetary value on it and in fact it’s not even a possible task to dare. Now you wonder what my most important asset would be but if you have been reading my posts often that shouldn’t be a difficult thing to surmise. However, I will tell you a story or a series of stories to illustrate what mine is. Stay with me please, it’s quite a brief one. Continue reading “My Most Important Asset”→
Today’s post was a request made by Mr. Ishmael Frankson, a very good reader of my blog after he read the post self-confidence is not of God. Do check it out to flow with today’s post on “self esteem nexus self-confidence”. His request exactly was for me to “throw more light on self confidence – self esteem nexus” and that is what I will attempt to do today, show the connection if any between these two. I believe other readers like your very good self would be interested in this too after you read the post on self-confidence is not of God.
So, I decided to share something today I titled “Understanding God” or maybe I should have said “having the right scriptural interpretation and understanding”. Whichever one you choose, I hope it blesses your heart.
Proverbs 2:1–5: “My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.”
Understanding, according to Microsoft Encarta Dictionary 2009, is the ability to grasp, infer, perceive, and explain the meaning or nature of something or somebody; it is to have knowledge of something – a particular subject, area, or situation. However, Job 32:8 says, “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding”; and 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” Continue reading “Understanding God”→
Yeah, I know what you are thinking. It is not World Technology Day Celebration and neither am I celebrating technology today but in the spirit of technological advancements – iPhone 6, iPhone 7, iPhone 11…LOL, I would like to “teach” some biblical truth. Now, please do not get me wrong, I love iPhone and am currently seriously in need of a MacOS laptop! But today, I want to share some biblical truth, coming from what we know and are familiar with to what we are not used to. We know and understand why Apple, Microsoft and every other tech-based company keep on issuing upgrades and that is the knowledge you need to benefit from today’s post. Am excited and glad to welcome you all to 2018, this shall be a year of glad tidings for us all. Amen.
So, it’s the beginning of another year and some people might be entering this year with just the perfect amount of trepidation, resulting in inactivity and preventing them from attempting or possibly doing what God has asked them to do in 2018 just so they won’t have to confront another failure. Probably due to extended failures of the past. Continue reading “It is okay to hope again..”→
